The Hungarian Society for Blasting Technology (MARE) is a self-organized scientific society, that also the safeguarding of interests and business federation organization.
The Society, as an independent scientific professional organization, does not follow any political activities, does not support any parties and does not have support from any political parties.
Within the field of blasting technology, the Society gathers active and retired experts of explosives production, distribution and application, as well people and legal entities of the areas of education, development, research and administration as voluntary members.
In addition of the limited professional work, Society's function includes:

  •  Scientific activity and research

  • Schooling, education, development of abilities, dissemination of knowledge

  • Protection of cultural heritage

  • Protection of historic buildings

  • Environmental protection

  • Disaster relief

  • Protection and security of tasks

  • Assistance in euro-Atlantic integration.

  • During its functioning, Society participates in opinion and social acceptance of departmental tasks, in cooperation with nation-wide authority organizations.

  • The Society performs contractor activities only in accordance with its fundamental rules.

  • The Society's primary aim is to join the experts of blasting technology.

  • Essentially, the Society was formed for the sake of safeguarding of interests and business federation. For the sake of the cause, Society helps spreading novel information, organizing further education and training, spreading results of international researches and developments, joining experts and preparation of law and rules related to blasting technology.

  • Additional aim is to evolve connection with native and international professional organizations.

  • Highlighted aim of Society is to preserve, care and hand down the professional traditions.

  • Society makes an effort to cooperate with State and self-governing institutes

  • Organizations and institutes of medium and higher education

  • Native and international professional organizations, groupings are in relation with blasting technology.
